What The Factor is all about...

          I wanted to introduce myself and provide some insight on my reasons for establishing a relationship-creation company.  I have been divorced for over 14 years, have met and/or become involved with some really fantastic people, some not-so-great people, and one person that is my everything.  Most of my experiences in dating have been on-line, as I have never been one to frequent bars, and the grocery store is for food shopping, not dating.  My dating experiences, include some very funny stories, some very close and long-term friends, many happy encounters, and some misery as well. Each experience has taught me a lesson in one capacity or another and I am thankful for the growth.

          My reasons for starting “The it Factor” are personal.  Some I can explain here and some will never be explained in public.  The truth of the matter is I have seen and been involved in so many different dating sites over my career as a single man, I felt that there needed to be a change and something different from the norm.  People tell wonderful stories of how their friend got married from meeting someone on-line here or there, but you never really know how long that person was out there searching, and how many “really bad” first dates they had to live through to finally find “the one.” Truth be told, on-line dating sites are cold, offer nothing but a window into someone’s self promotional profile and 2x2 snap shot of their 10-year old picture.  The sites are hit or miss, and I assure you, mostly miss.

          I do believe there is someone for everyone.  I believe that people go through transitions, hardship, heartache and drama in life.  Some need to make changes in their own behavior or they will fall into the same situation repeatedly.  “The it Factor” has an affiliation with a Leading- Edge life coach, Gail Jones; she assists people with just that – she is fantastic and I am proud to have her professionalism as an option for our clients. 

          Today, more so than ever, safety is a very important aspect to dating. There are no nets when you’re out there on-line.  I have taken steps to ensure your safety.  We don’t provide your personal information to anyone – ever.  If you choose to disclose your information, that is entirely up to you, until such time – it is protected, always. We go beyond this as well with Background checks for our clients.  You have to have one, or you're not allowed in - sorry.

          Lastly, I felt the dating sites and dating services offered zero personality. Neither type of service offer any support for their clients; pay them and then you’re on your own.  I have chosen to incorporate both service and support.  We meet our clients, get to know you personally and will support you in your quest. We interview you, take your photo, create your profile for you, and find your “It Factor.”  We are here to discuss your dating issues and offer advice.  If you need support, we have people for you to speak with.  We are not going to turn our back on you – and I guarantee it.  At The it Factor, we actually want to get rid of our clients!
